Photography Exhibition by Laura-Juliet Ayers
Café Formenti, 20 Dublin Street,
14th – 23rd September.
Laura-Juliet Ayers is an established and respected photographer with numerous exhibitions to her credit in Ireland, the UK and the US. Her stills range from candid portraits, haunting landscapes, travel and street photography to unique creations using both modern and vintage equipment combined. Her sensibility to the art of photography is best summed up by her quote; “If the eyes are the windows to the soul, then the camera is the portal out”
Laura is delighted to be involved in Taylorfest at the request of Marc-Ivan O’Gorman to honour the intriguing figure of the Carlow born Hollywood insider William Desmond Taylor. For this exhibition she has created a series of 1920′s inspired images to recapture a world that is fast disappearing.
