Script to Screen I – Kathleen O’Rourke
Shaw Room, Carlow County Library – Friday Evening, Time 6pm
Great movies start with great writing and often that writing is an adaptation from another literary form. William Desmond Taylor was an early exponent of this craft and famous for bringing several Mark Twain stories to the silver screen for the first time.
To examine this process the county library Service brings Carlow native, writer and performer Kathleen O’Rourke, discusses her experience of having her ‘Granny O’Grimm’ story transformed into an Oscar-Nominated animation. Free Event
